COVID 19 INFORMATION FOR ALL TRAINING CLASSES

    • Masks ARE required or appropriate face covering for all ages at all times prior  to entering the building
    • Anyone taking a class must be free from all symptoms associated with COVID 19
    • ONLY  1 DOG and their (Owner)s are allowed in the entrance of Ruff Day Resort  at all times please wait to entrance is clear to entry
    • During class all dogs and owners must stay 6 feet apart to ensure a safe environment

Requirements for Classes

  • ​Leash must be 5 or 6 foo​t in length please no retractable leashes and proper collar
  • Small pea size treats enough to get through class. Make sure this is a treat that will ONLY be used for training
  • Please be on time. Start and end time of classes are strictly enforced. IF YOU ARE more than 10 minutes late it you will not be able to join the class late due to disrupting the class and the other dogs.  If you feel you maybe late, please contact Debbie Hansen PRIOR to the beginning of class
  • Please turn off all cell phones during class.  The class is only 1 hour.  This is not only disturbing to the class but it inappropriate behavior to the teacher
  • Proper attire required by all handlers in the class must be wearing.... closed toe shoes, long pants. Please for the safety of everyone, NO shorts or sandals
All handlers (Owners) must be a minimal age of 15.  Please make arrangements with Debbie Hansen PRIOR to the first class if an issue

Puppy Class - for ages from 10 weeks to 11 months

4 Weeks for $100 Total

For puppies minimal of 10 weeks of age and 11 months

The puppy class is designed for you and your new puppy to get started out on the right path.

The class will be structured for some play time and socialization for the puppies during the first portion of the class.

  • Diet
  • Puppy Behaviors (biting, jumping, etc.)
  • Crate Training
  • Sit
  • Stay
  • Down

Requirements for Puppy Class

  • Puppies must not be older than 11 months of age
  • Stool sample showing no parasites
  • Must have proof of SECOND round of shots to include Distemper, Hepatitis, Lepto, Parvo, Para-influenza (DHLPP)
  • Rabies based on age and Veterinarian discretion
