As a Trainer I have watched, studied, and broke down body language for 11 years now. Hyperactivity, impulsive behaviors, and re activeness can be genetic, breed specific or 80% is due to their diet.
When food is a question in behavior during training my Client’s ask, “What do you recommend?” So I started a Journal and a Journey about dog food ingredients. Believe me it is a long and never ending Journey.
There is so much on the market why? The pet industry in the ONLY industry that is not affect by recession.

Things to consider when buying dog food
• Protein content – should be at least 30% meaning meat protein’s and not plant proteins
• Fat Contents – higher the better as long as it is “good” fat
• Essential Vitamins which ones
• Preservatives what are they how do they affect my pet
• Why is DHA an important ingredient
• Good grains bad grains what is the difference
• Your dog maybe absorbing too much Omega 6 not only through supplements but through ingredients. Too
much Omega 6 can cause may health issues
